Ugly Smoothie Recipe: Date Me

I’ve got them here, for ya!

Another ugly smoothie recipe coming to you from my kitchen to yours…

This recipe is DELICIOUS, and not even that ugly.

But it is PACKED with nutrition, and sure to give you loads of energy and beautifying antioxidants…

So you will look and feel great for your date!

Here’s The Recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 10 medjool dates, pitted
  • 3 cups blueberries
  • 1 cup cherries, pitted
  • 4 cups filtered water or coconut water
  • 2 tbsp Daily Green Boost (or other green superfood powder or several handfuls of fresh dark leafy greens of your choice)

Process:

1. Place all ingredients in blender.

2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.

Customize For Your Dosha:

Vata – Everything in this works for you. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! Try not to use frozen fruit, and remove fruit from fridge for a while before making smoothie so it’s not ice-cold.

Pitta – All of these ingredients are pitta-pacifying. Choose coconut water to boost the cooling effect.

Kapha – Dates are not particularly kapha-friendly, but see how you do. Reduce them and increase berries and cherries, if needed. As always, add in some extra greens and/or cucumber to balance the fruit sugars.
