Pink Juicy Smoothie: Raw Vegan Recipe + Recommendations According To Your Ayurveda Dosha

This is the perfect hydrating, tasty recipe for when you’re on the go.

I made it a few days back, and took it with me to my volunteer work at Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship.

Instead of having a solid lunch, I just sipped it throughout the afternoon.

No blood sugar crashes…

Zero cravings…

No hunger…

Just a steady stream of fruity hydration and sweet satiation.

It’s also makes for a great breakfast…or sweet pre-dinner drink!

Here’s The Recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup each: peaches, mango, strawberry, pineapple OR 4 cups frozen mix of the same fruits
  • 4 cups fresh orange juice*

*I use 4-6 pounds of oranges to make 4 cups of juice using this juicer.

Process:

1. Place all ingredients in blender.

2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.

Customize Recipe According To Your Dosha.

Vata – This recipe is a good choice for vata. All these fruits are vata-pacifying. Do your best to use fresh, not frozen fruit. To minimize the cooling quality, remove any refrigerated ingredients from the refrigerator and allow them to warm to room temperature before you make the recipe. Store your fruit outside of the fridge as much as possible. Throw in a chunk of fresh ginger to increase warming quality.

Pitta – This recipe is an excellent choice for pitta! It is light and cooling. Enjoy!

Kapha – This recipe is kapha-pacifying. Do your best to use fresh, not frozen fruit. To minimize the cooling quality, remove any refrigerated ingredients from the refrigerator and allow them to warm to room temperature before you make the recipe. Store your fruit outside of the fridge as much as possible. Throw in a chunk of fresh ginger to increase warming quality.
