Matcha Coconut: Raw Vegan Smoothie Recipe + Recommendations For Your Dosha

I drank this on my hike a few weeks ago, and experienced super blissful energy.

It’s a perfect drink for mid-day, as the matcha and natural fruit sugars will power you through the afternoon.

Here’s The Recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 5 bananas (ripe & spotty)
  • 2 medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 cups (or more) coconut water

Process:

1. Place all ingredients in blender.

2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.

Recommendations For Your Dosha

Vata – Sweet bananas, coconut, and dates are vata-pacifying. Feel free to add extra dates and bananas to meet your needs. If using fresh coconut water, add some of the meat to the smoothie, if fruit and fat mix well for you. See how you tolerate the matcha.

Pitta – This is a great recipe for you too! It should help cool you down. Coconut water is an incredible cooling elixir for pitta dominant folks. Use frozen bananas if fresh bananas are too warming.

Kapha – Sweet dates and bananas may aggravate kapha. See how you respond to them. Energizing matcha may help balance kapha lethargy and fatigue.
