Blueberry Pie: Raw Vegan Smoothie Recipe + Customize For Your Dosha

Did you know that blueberries can help prevent diabetes?!

Dietary berries help with insulin resistance and lower inflammation in the body.

Damaged DNA brings about disease, aging, and ultimately death.

However, blueberries protect against DNA damage!

Fortunately, I’ve got a DELICIOUS recipe LOADED with blueberries.

Seriously..

I call it blueberry pie…

Because, it’s sweet, slightly salty, and loaded with blueberry goodness.

Here’s The Recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 8-10 medjool dates, pitted
  • 2 sticks celery
  • 1 liter of filtered water

Process:

1. Place all ingredients in blender.

2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.

Customize Recipe For Your Dosha:

Vata – This is an excellent choice for vata loaded with sweet berries and dates, and salty, hydrating celery. Use fresh blueberries if possible and room temperature water to reduce cooling effect.

Pitta – This is a great choice for pitta! Blueberries, dates, and celery are all pitta-pacifying. As always, throw in some mint to increase cooling effect.

Kapha – Berries and celery work for you! Feel free to increase berries and celery, and decrease dates. Try to use fresh blueberries to decrease cooling effect.
